While it’s impossible for me to say that XYZ skin care treatment is the best and will clear your skin fast, I can help you figure out which one is the best for your skin type. Skin care treatments are a lot like music, what works for me might not work for you! There are some steps that you can take to determine the treatment that will work best for you, and no doctor or dermatologist is needed.

The key to finding the right acne treatment for your skin is to test some out. Before running down to the drug store and buying every one that you see, there are some steps to take. First, you have to determine what your skin type is. Oily skin types will return to being oily within an hour after washing your face. Dry skin types will remain dry and tight after an hour. Combination skin types will have oily areas through the T-zone (across the brow and down the nose) and dry in other areas. Balanced skin will be none of the above, but hydrated and supple instead.

After you figure out your skin type take a look at the skin care treatments that you already have to see if they match your skin. Most treatments will say that they’re made for dry or oily skin. If not use what you already have as a gauge. If your skin is dry then the active ingredients in your current skin care treatment are probably too concentrated, so you want to find something that is going to be more gentle. If your skin is oily after washing, you can probably take something that is more concentrated.

Picking out a skin care treatment at the drug store or online is simple, just find one that matches your skin type and your budget and buy it. The problem that many people have is that they jump from one treatment to another without giving it time to actually be effective. Give whatever you buy an honest shot to work, which usually means an entire bottle/jar/tube before deciding if it’s going to give you good results.

Once you finish that cycle, you can either stick with it, or use the results that it gave you to choose a different product. Look at the concentration of active ingredients and whether or not the skin care treatment had oil in it, and make your next purchase based on those conclusions.

Waking up in the morning to find a big pimple on your face can be both frustrating and embarrassing. However, there are countless acne treatments available and simple tricks and tips you can do to keep your skin acne free. Whether you want to buy acne creams and cleansers or try natural remedies, there are a variety of ways to fight those nasty pimples.

There are many over-the-counter creams and cleansers available for the treatment of pimples. Benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid products work effectively against minor, occasional, outbreaks of pimples. These treatments come in face washes which can be used daily and creams that can be applied directly to the pimple.

Washing your face at least twice a day is important in both treating and preventing pimple outbreaks. Be sure to use a face wash that is labeled as non-comedogenic. This means it will not clog your pores. Using regular body soap may irritate the skin and lead to more outbreaks. Changing treatments frequently or overuse of a product can lead to dry, irritated skin and increase the frequency of pimples.

If you want to try a natural remedy, tea tree oil is one of the more effective natural acne treatments. It has been shown to be as effective as benzoyl peroxide and can be applied directly to a pimple. Leave it on overnight and rinse clean in the morning.

Avoid touching your face as much as possible. Touching a pimple with dirty fingers will add to the oil on your face and make the pimple bigger, rather than smaller. It’s also best to avoid popping the pimple. While it may seem hard to resist popping a big pimple, doing so may lead to infection, not to mention scarring. When you pop a pimple, you actually spread the bacteria to surrounding areas, increasing the likelihood of another breakout.

Wearing makeup may contribute to clogged pores; so if you need to wear makeup, use a brand that is labeled as non-comedogenic. There are also some makeup products that contain salicylic acid, which works to fight acne.

If you experience a recurring acne problem that over-the-counter cleansers and creams and natural remedies cannot control, it may be advisable to make an appointment with a dermatologist. A dermatologist can give you stronger prescription medication in the form of a pill or a cleanser or cream. They will also be able to diagnose any underlying problems that may be causing acne outbreaks.

Acne care begins with what goes into your body and ends with your acne treatment. This is what worked for me to clear my skin. It’s a bit of a paradigm change from what the acne skin care treatment companies want to you to think, their objective is to sell you as many products as they can and sway you away from the one that you’re currently using. They do this by telling you that their product is all you need to clear your acne; it may work, but it’s not all you need.

The best acne treatment is always the one that will cure your acne from inside your body and treat it on the outside. In order to do this you have to take a close look at what you’re putting inside your body each day. The food and drink we consume has a direct effect on how your skin looks. Every part of your body is connected and your food (energy) fuels every part of it. To see the effect of this, take a clove of peeled garlic and rub it on the bottom of your foot. In 15 minutes or so, you’ll be able to taste the garlic in your mouth. I know that’s a little gross, but it proves the point.

An acne skin care treatment diet consists of mainly fresh fruits, veggies, and nuts. Being vegan would certainly help (you and the animals), but your diet should at least be much heavier on the good things like those than things like meat, sugar, bread, and other processed food. The chemicals that are found in many of these foods will add toxins and other crap into your body that’s going to show up in your skin.

Since I’m sure there will be times when you still eat bad, back all of that good food up with a ton of water. The extra water is going to flush the crap out of your body. Drinking at least a half-gallon of water each day will suffice, but drink more if you are very active or drink coffee, tea, soda, energy drinks, or alcohol.

Acne Skin Care Products

After you get the diet side of this down, you should focus on how you’re treating the outside. Acne care products come in many shapes and sizes, but they are all essentially the same active ingredients in different concentrations. What this means for you is that one product may work great on my face, but not at all on yours. Since everyone’s skin is different, you’re going to have to shop around and find the one that cleans your skin without drying it out. Using a treatment that is too concentrated isn’t going to treat your acne any faster, it’s just going to dry it out!

When you’ve found a treatment that doesn’t dry your skin out, stick with it for at least two bottles. If, after those two bottles are finished, you don’t see any results find another product. The reason for this is that the ingredients take time to be effective and work their magic. Your skin will also have to take time to adjust to the new product.

The best acne treatment for you is the one that cleanses your skin and leaves it moisturized. After you’ve found this product, stick to it! This is extremely important. If you keep jumping around, you’ll have to start the process over again.

The instant gratification of popping zits is rarely a good idea. I know that they’re irritating and unattractive, but there are better ways to do it. With all of the pimple creams and home remedies for popping zits around, you have lots of different options to get rid of them. This article is going to take a look at a few of these remedies, and show you how to pop zits the right way (if you must!).

If pimples are always popping up on your face (pun intended) then it may be time to look into a long-term acne treatment plan. Finding an acne treatment that you can stick with that doesn’t dry your face out is extremely important, as well as adjusting your diet to eating natural and healthy foods to clear your skin. As soon as you get tired of having to pop zits every day, it’s probably time to find a long term solution. Popping pimples only treats the side-effects, rather than solving the problem at its source.

Zit Popping Alternatives

There are dozens of zit creams on the market, and each will deliver similar results. The premise of these creams is that you apply them to your face before you go to bed and allow the medication to work its magic over night and you wake up pimple free. This certainly works some of the time, but often people wake up with skin that’s red and irritated from the harsh chemicals that were in the cream. If you can find one that has a balance of chemicals that treats your skin without beating it up too bad, you’ve struck gold and stick with it. If not…

Home remedies for getting rid of zits are a dime a dozen. Some of them work really well, and others do absolutely nothing (except make a mess). There are two home remedies that I’ve used and had decent results with. I certainly can’t explain the science behind these, but I can speak from my own experience. The first treatment was to apply honey to the zit and surrounding area and let it sit for at least an hour. The irritation went away and the size of the pimple was greatly reduced. I don’t recommend going outside with this if you live in an area with a large bee population! The other home remedy is to apply toothpaste to the pimple and sleep on it. The results from this one were varied, and it worked about 60% of the time.

How To Pop Zits

If you must pop zits, at least do your skin the favor of damaging it as little as possible. Popping zits isn’t a good idea for a few reasons, the first is when you push on your face you’re damaging the tissue beneath and leaving it vulnerable to acne scars, the second reason is the open wound on your face is a magnet for infection, and lastly you’re going to make more pimples by spreading the zits goo around (eww!).

In order to do it properly-

Wash your face and hands thoroughly.

Sterilize any tools your going to use with rubbing alcohol.

Push sideways, rather than down, to get it to pop.

Clean your popped zit with an astringent cleaner.

This certainly isn’t as easy (or dirty) as you’re probably doing it now, but in order to prevent infection and acne scars it’s the way to go.

To sum everything up, either don’t pop your zits or do it properly. If pimples are a recurring problem, look into a long-term acne treatment.

When choosing an acne remedy there are two things you must have; a quick remedy and a long term treatment. The quick remedy is perfect for when acne pops up before something important (like it always does) and the long term treatment is your plan to be free of acne. Figuring out which is right for you will take some time, but with all of the options available there’s one out there for you.

There are three types of acne remedies, and all have equal merit and similar results. The key to getting the results that you want is to stick with a plan once you buy into it. For most people it doesn’t matter what the remedy is, they’ll get good results from just about any treatment. The four different acne remedies are OTC treatments, home remedies, and natural remedies. We’ll take a look at these a little closer so you can determine which is going to be the best for you and your skin.

OTC Treatments

Over the counter acne treatments are the most common fast acne treatment. The key to these acne treatments is to find one that cleans your skin without drying it out too bad. Dry skin doesn’t equal effective acne treatment, and there’s no reason to put yourself through more agony with the pain and irritation that dry skin brings. As soon as you find the one that you can stick with, stay with it! The ingredients in most acne treatments are the same, you just found one that has the right concentration of these ingredients.

Acne treatment systems like Acne Free work great, and the same rules apply about sticking to them. Keep in mind that these are much more powerful medications than the usual cream or face wash, so some drying of the skin is to be expected but it should clear within a week. Acne Free is notorious for this, and many people give up on it because of it and never see the results they would have had if they stuck to it.

Home Remedies For Acne

If you spend some time looking around the web, you’ll find thousands of different home remedies for acne. Most of them will never work, even with a miracle. On the other hand, there are a few that work great. Even if you don’t find your acne miracle cure, you’re going to at least get a few laughs from how absurd many of them are.

Each person’s skin type will determine how effective they are, but there’s one that I found that could help anyone who suffers from acne. This home remedy is so simple, I can’t believe that I didn’t think of it! Simply change your pillowcase every couple of days, or sheets if you suffer from body acne. Your pillowcase acts like a sponge while you sleep, soaking up all of the oils and grime on your skin and smearing it around all throughout the night. Even a freshly washed face will still transfer oils, and the grime from the last few nights will be waiting to get on your clean face. To prevent yourself from doing laundry everyday, buy a few sets of pillowcases.

Natural Acne Remedies

The easiest natural acne remedy is to change your diet. When your diet consists of vegetables instead of meat and bread, you’re going to have clear skin. It’s really hard to eat poorly when fruit, nuts, and veggies are mainly what you eat. Backing that diet up with at least a half gallon of water per day will make sure that your skin stays acne free and radiant.

There are also lots of natural acne treatments on the market. These fight your acne with plant based ingredients instead of harsh chemicals. These are the perfect answer for people who have very sensitive skin. Some of them are even organic, which will prevent the toxins from pesticides landing in your pores. With these treatments you probably won’t see as fast of results as you would with traditional methods, but you’re doing your body and the planet a favor by using them.
